I am now getting Die Keinnamebahn ready for its third outing. It will be being displayed this coming weekend (24/25 February) at the New Mills and District Railway Modellers exhibition at the Leasure Centre, Long Lane, Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire.

The revised servo powered uncoupler system is, so far, working well. The ESU SwitchPilot Servo Version 2 now powers down the servos after they have actuated and now runs a lot cooler than the Version 1 units that do not have this facility and which overheated under the baseboard at the Rainhill show last year.

The servos for the uncouplers can either be controlled using Switch commands on the DCC controller or, now after fitting them, by 4 DPDT switches on the board edge.

So this week is for final tweaking and minor repairs etc.
